The Mahaska County Attorney and Keokuk County Attorney are soliciting applications for a full-time Assistant County Attorney. This position will share between Mahaska County and Keokuk County with 25 percent of the time being devoted to Keokuk County matters. Travel to Oskaloosa and Sigourney is required. Duties of the position will include prosecution of criminal offenses, juvenile delinquency and child in need of assistance cases, mental health commitments, debt collection, and representation of county officials in civil matters. The position is responsible to and supervised by the Mahaska County Attorney.
