Ted, age 65, is the fifth of six children of Joe and Mary Ann Karpuk. He has resided in Dakota Dunes for over 10 years. Ted attended Blessed Sacrament and St. Michael's grade schools and then graduated from Heelan in 1974. He obtained his BA in mathematics from Briar Cliff in 1978 and then a J.D. from the University of Iowa Law School in 1981. Ted has practiced law for over 40 years, first in Cedar Rapids and then in Sioux City since 1983. Ted has operated his own general practice law office in Sioux City since 2006. Ted's hobbies include running, golf, basketball, playing the harmonica, and singing in the St. Michael's Choir. Ted is the proud uncle of 27 nephews and nieces and 57 grand nephews and nieces.
