Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird seeks two assistant attorneys general to represent the State of Iowa’s Child Support Recovery Unit (CSRU) in Burlington, Iowa. Duties include appearing before the District Court in a four-county area of Southeast Iowa in actions to establish, modify or enforce support, reviewing and presenting to the District Court administrative support orders entered by CSRU, and providing legal advice to CSRU on a variety of matters.
A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle a large caseload. Previous experience with the Iowa Child Support Guidelines, with family law cases, or with child support enforcement is preferred. Admission to practice law in Iowa is required.
Salary range is $55,952–$85,176, depending on experience.
