Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird seeks a criminal prosecutor to prosecute drug crimes in federal court as a part of the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) program in eastern Iowa. The position will be cross-designated as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of Iowa. It will be located in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Davenport, Iowa. A successful candidate will be committed to protecting victims, supporting law enforcement, and achieving justice for Iowans. Previous prosecution or criminal trial experience and experience in federal court is preferred. The position is for a three-year term. Salary range is $70,054.40–$107,848.00.
