The Lawton Chiles Legal Information Center at the University of Florida, Levin College of Law seeks applicants for its newly created Head of Metadata and Digital Resources/Legal Research Faculty position.
The Head of Metadata and Digital Resources/Legal Research Faculty is responsible for and oversees the development, assessment, and implementation of best practices and procedures related to metadata creation, resource description, and classification with an emphasis on ensuring that the Library’s digital resources are discoverable and accessible. The Head of Metadata and Digital Resources/Legal Research Faculty provides reference services and faculty research support in addition to teaching in the College of Law.

The Lawton Chiles Legal Information Center at the University of Florida, Levin College of Law is one of the largest libraries in the southeast United States. The library serves faculty, staff and students in the Levin College of Law, and other University of Florida students and faculty, as well as the Florida Bar and the public. The library's principal user population includes approximately 60 tenure-track faculty and 40 other full-time faculty members, and approximately 1,000 J.D. and LL.M. students.
