Summary of Position:
The primary role of the KM Client Solutions (KMCS) Analyst consists of analyzing data and preparing related reports, with a heavy focus on disparity/statistical analysis and reporting; preparing and maintaining Reduction in Force (RIF)-related documentation and other materials; and providing general RIF-related support. The KMCS Analyst also assists with other operational activities, projects, and initiatives as needed.
The KM Client Solutions Analyst will promote the KM department’s mission to improve the practice of law and business of the firm by: connecting our people with each other and our clients; connecting our people with information and our collective knowledge; and developing innovative processes, procedures, and systems to make those connections and promote knowledge sharing.
Serve as the primary KMCS resource for RIF-related support; activities include but are not limited to:
Gather, analyze, and cleanse demographic data related to RIFs
Prepare disparity/statistical analyses
Prepare and maintain other RIF-related documentation, such as OWBPA attachments
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and provide appropriate guidance to attorneys and clients regarding disparity analyses and OWBPA project management
Serve as the primary KMCS resource for other data analysis and reporting needs
Assist with other KMCS operational activities as needed; activities include but are not limited to:
Facilitate the administration of key client engagements
Manage custom-client-reporting activities
Administer and support KMCS applications (e.g., Clientlink Collaboration Platform, eRIF Intake, ShareFile, IntelliCase, Smartsheet, and Firm Survey)
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert regarding KMCS services and solutions as well as other KM offerings
Assist with other KMCS projects and initiatives as needed, and perform other duties as assigned
Four-year college/university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of three (3) years in a similar role
Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Word and Excel
Experience working in a law firm, preferably in a data analyst or Knowledge Management role, strongly preferred
Experience with/knowledge of SharePoint, Elite Enterprise, iManage Document Management System, SQL, Prosperoware’s Ascera Publisher, Smartsheet, and Citrix ShareFile preferred
Experience with User Interface (UI) / User Experience (UX) design preferred
Exposure to Business Analysis and Project Management / Coordination preferred
Strong decision-making skills, including the ability to make sound business decisions independently
Excellent customer-service skills with an unwavering “can-do” attitude and the ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate professionally and effectively to all levels, both internally and externally
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage / coordinate multiple work streams simultaneously
Ability to translate complex ideas into non-technical “layman’s terms”
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team
High aptitude for analytical thinking and problem solving
Strong verbal and written communication skills
High level of responsiveness; must be able to respond quickly and effectively to questions and requests from all levels, both internally and externally
Ability to pay close attention to detail, occasionally for prolonged periods of time and under restrictive deadlines, and complete assignments logically and accurately
